Capture bottles by photo
Photograph the label, quickly check the recognized details, and save the bottle straight to your collection. Gustofolio is more than a wine app: it recognizes wine and whisky, reads the back label too, and translates foreign-language descriptions into your language.
If Gustofolio isn't sure about a detail, it leaves the field blank. You can always add or edit any information yourself.

Cellar & Collection
Know what you have – and where it is
Assign every bottle to a location, rack, row, or slot. When you move something, just update its spot in a few taps. That way, you can quickly find any bottle again, even in a large wine or whisky collection.
Gustofolio keeps evolving, and we listen closely to our community along the way. We started as a wine app, and today whisky is a core part of it. Gin, cognac, rum, and many other exciting spirits are coming soon.
Personal Recommendations
Gustofolio learns what you love
Rate what you've tasted – with stars, points, and a short note. Over time, this builds your personal flavor profile. Wine and whisky are kept separate, since each follows its own set of standards.
Not sure what to open? Gustofolio suggests fitting bottles from your own collection and explains why they suit you. The more you rate, the sharper the suggestions get. What matters is your taste – not other people's average ratings.

Store wine the right way
Keep an eye on your cellar temperature
For every storage location, you'll see the current temperature, your target range, and the trend over the last 30 days. If it gets too warm, you'll get a heads-up — including how long it's been that way.
For live readings, you can connect a temperature sensor via Home Assistant. Without a sensor, Gustofolio uses the temperature zone you've set for that storage location.

Drinking Window & Serving Temperature
The right bottle at the right time
Gustofolio shows you the ideal serving temperature for each wine. Prefer yours a bit cooler or warmer? Just save your own value, and that's the one that counts from then on.
If the same wine is stored in multiple places, Gustofolio takes temperature into account when you're about to open a bottle. If one's still too warm, you'll see roughly how long it needs to chill. The drinking window stays in view too, so you always know which bottles are worth opening now.
Friends & Enjoyment
Share what tastes good. Keep private what's private.
Invite friends via a personal link. Swap tasting notes and recommendations, chat, and plan wine or whisky evenings together. Guests can accept or decline via the link – even without their own account.
Your storage locations, stock, purchase prices, and private notes always stay private. For favorite bottles, ratings, recommendations, and your wish list, you decide what others get to see.
And when you're at a restaurant looking at a wine list, just snap a photo to instantly see which wines you already know and how you rated them.
