How it all began
It started with a very practical wish. Two friends, both with a weakness for good wine, wanted to finally store their bottles properly and keep track of them all. What's lying where? What's ready to drink now? And which wine was so good last year that another one needs to go in the cellar?
A spreadsheet was never enough for that. So we started building something ourselves. And as it goes when you enjoy what you're doing, it turned into more.
Today, Gustofolio shares our knowledge of all things good to drink. In our drinks encyclopedia, we explain wine, whisky, gin, rum and much more in a way you'll actually enjoy reading. And every day we work on making it as easy as possible for you to log your bottles: instead of typing, you just snap a photo of the label, and Gustofolio fills in the details for you.

These are the topics we're currently working on. The bars show how far along we are. We'll update every step as soon as something moves forward.

Gustofolio is still in beta. Many of you already use the app every day while we keep building it out. For every bit of feedback that's reached us so far, we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You've found bugs we'd never have noticed and had ideas we'd never have come up with on our own.

There's a small golden button in the top right of the app labeled Beta. Tap it, and you can write to us or simply speak into it about anything you notice. We read every piece of feedback, collect it, and build it in once it's its turn and it moves Gustofolio forward.
Why your perspective matters so much
When you're deep in building something, you eventually can't see the forest for the trees. You know every button, know where everything is, and overlook exactly the spot where someone new gets stuck. That's where you come in. Every piece of feedback, even the small stuff, shows us where things still don't quite work and what you're really missing. That's how our idea grows, step by step, into an app that fits you.
