Bremen
Pilsner for the long haul.
Guided route
Bremen in depth
Bremer Bier has carried the protected geographical indication (PGI) since 1998; Beck's and Haake-Beck define the Hanseatic city. The pale pilsner of the Weser was brewed for overseas voyages, and the Schaffermahlzeit has celebrated it since 1545.
